Kemper V2 - Pack 1

Western Mass has been a special place over the years for modern metal. Amp Guru looks to bring a little bit of that to you.

This contains a collection of Kemper 2.0 profiles created with hard rock and metal in mind. These can be used with your favorite IR, cab captures, or run through power amps and a real cab due to being created this way.

Many rare/boutique amps were utilized to create this pack as well as a lot of time to make it happen. Amps were set around noon settings for a balanced base tone and then an EQ layer was applied in the Kemper. You can adjust these to others that Kemper releases to fit your own personal taste. If an amp has modes/switches we used those to differentiate different captures of the amps when applicable, as the liquid EQ layers cannot mimic that functionality. Why spend thousands on all the gear when you can try them all in one place?

The DI amp Signal also was run through a Neve 1073DPX. Profiles that have this enabled in the chain are labeled "EQ" at the end. These can be used to experiment and get different results.

Amps are serviced and retubed for optimal performance before profiling.
